Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first and after that team, India takes the control over the Lankan batting lineup. Indian spin bowler low down the batting order of Sri Lanka and restrict them to just 216 runs in 43 overs.
The spin attack held by Axar Patel and Kedar Jhadav helps to break the top order and middle order of the Lankan team.
Kedar surprise with the ball and Axar bowling a perfect line to bowl out the Sri Lankan batting lineup.
Following the 216 runs chase Team India reply with a perfect dominance, After the early loss of Rohit Sharma wicket Dhawan and Kohli put the pressure on the opposition and started to dominate the innings and take their team to the victory single handed.
India takes the lead by 1-0 against Sri Lanka and the second match is on Thursday.
